Profile
Keshab Bhattarai is a senior lecturer of economics at University of Hull. He has published in various refereed journals, and is actively involved in supervision of student research at both post graduate and undergraduate levels. Nine students have successfully completed PhD in economics under his supervision. He received his PhD for developing dynamic CGE model to analyse growth and redistribution impacts of financial sector policies from the Northeastern University, Boston, USA in 1997. Then he worked for the ESRC funded Dynamic General Equilibrium Analysis of UK Policy Issues Project at the Department of Economics, Warwick University from 1996 to 1999. Dr. Bhattarai had taught at Northeastern University in Boston between 1993 and 1996. He joined the University of Hull in 1999 and was promoted senior lectureship in 2011.
