Anwit Adhikari is the CEO and Chief Designer of Anveya; a young energy research and development corporation with its headquarters in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is currently researching on a novel method of inter-photonic frequency conversion, with the aim of harnessing the energy of the full solar spectrum efficiently. Previously, he has worked on the theoretical design of a novel wind turbine that incorporated elements from both horizontal and vertical axis technologies into a more energy efficient concept. Anwit is a graduate of Draper University, a high-level entrepreneurship workshop headed by billionaire venture capitalist Tim Draper. He is also a member of the Under20 Network, an exclusive network of young entrepreneurs centered on the Thiel Foundation, the non-profit arm of the billionaire venture capitalist Peter Thiel. He has also interned at the Seasteading Institute, a California think-tank that aims to establish the world’s first permanent human settlements on the ocean.
